At UNITED COATINGS, we are very
conscious of our impact on the environment, and
proud of the recognition we have received for our
community and environmental efforts.
UNITED recently became the only company to receive
the Environmental Protection Agency's "Evergreen
Award" for a second time, recognizing our
continuing environmental excellence and leadership.
We also joined an elite group of businesses in
winning the "Pollution Prevention Award" from
the Association of Washington Business, and were
singled out by the Department of Ecology to receive
a "Best Business Award" based on our
outstanding waste reduction and recycling efforts.

Awards & Recognition
UNITED COATINGS has been awarded a 2007 Exporter of the Year award from ThinkGlobal Inc., publisher of Commercial News USA, the official export promotion magazine of the U.S. Commerce Department.
Exporter of the Year awards were given to one U.S. company in each of 15 industry categories. UNITED COATINGS was named Exporter of the Year in the Building, Construction and Hardware category.
Winners were chosen based on the total number of documented export deals completed in 2005, total percentage of increased sales in 2005 compared to 2004, exports as a percentage of total sales, a company’s commitment to exporting and customer service, and the company’s innovation and originality in marketing products or services. To be eligible for the award, the company must currently be exporting from the United States.
