Coatings For Spray Applied Polyurethane Foam

ACRON 60 - A pure acrylic elastomer especially developed for extending the life of new or existing built-up, metal, concrete, single-ply and composite shingle roofs by providing a white reflective topcoat. It is especially effective a blocking bleed-through on asphaltic roof substrates. It is UL 790 Class A tested and certified.

DIATHON - A premium quality, water-based, high solids elastomeric coating that has set the standard to which all others are measured for over 35 years. DIATHON forms a breathable, permanently flexible membrane, especially developed for protecting spray-applied polyurethane foam on roofs and ambient of heated tanks. It is UL 790 Class A, Factory Mutual and Dade County tested and certified.

DIATHON BASECOAT - A high volume solids, water-based acrylic elastomer coating especially developed for use in conjunction with any of the Diathon finish coats. It can be used for up to half of the total required coating thickness to lower the overall cost of the installed system.

DIATHON HT - A unique, water-based elastomer coating utilizing the latest advances in acrylic technology for roof areas subject to heavy maintenance traffic, severe weather conditions, chemical fallout, etc. DIATHON HT offers approximately twice the tensile strength, tear strength and elongation values as typical premium-grade acrylic coatings, in addition to superior dirt pick-up and resistance to biological growth. It is UL 790 Class A and Factory Mutual tested and certified.

ELASTUFF 101/102/103 - High solids, moisture-catalyzed, single-component polyurethane coating system designed for protecting polyurethane foam on roofs and tanks from the effects of severe weathering and/or various chemical environments. ELASTUFF 101 is an aromatic polyurethane basecoat. ELASTUFF 102 & 103 are pure aliphatic polyurethane topcoats, with ELASTUFF 103 being a low VOC version formulated to meet all known VOC regulations. It is UL 790 Class A tested and certified.

ELASTUFF 310 FR - A 100% solids, fast-cure polyurea coating system designed to provide the ultimate in protection from abusive weather or maintenance conditions. ELASTUFF 310 FR is available in an aluminized version that can be used on its own, or it can be topcoated with Diathon, Kymax or Elastuff 102/103. The system is UL 790 Class A tested and certified.

KYMAX - An innovative technology based on Kynar Aquatec PVDF fluoropolymer resin, designed to deliver the proven durability and performance of traditional Kynar™ PVDF coatings. Kymax can be used as a topcoat over Kymax Basecoat, as well as Acron 60 Topcoat, Diathon andDiathon HT. It provides unsurpassed color stability, gloss retention, biocide resistance, reflectivity and cleanability. The system is UL 790 Class A tested and certified.

SUNSHIELD - is an economy grade elastomer for providing reflectivity and waterproofing to a variety of new or existing roof substrates, including metal, concrete, BUR, modified bitumen, single-ply, spray-applied polyurethane foam and composite shingles.

UNISIL - A high solids, single component, pure elastomeric silicone designed for providing waterproofing and reflectivity over spray-applied polyurethane foam on roof and tanks. Silicone offers superior UV resistance and weatherability characteristics. UL 790 Class A tested and certified.

UNISIL HS - An ultra high, 96% volume solids version of Unisil, providing the same superior UV resistance and weatherability characteristics. UL 790 Class A tested and certified.

PRIMERS & ACCESSORY ITEMS

ACRYLEX 400 - A single component, premium quality exterior acrylic latex primer providing corrosion protection, flash rust resistance and enhanced adhesion over steel, aluminum and galvanized metal surfaces.

ACRYSHEEN - A clear, water-based sealer designed to produce a semi-gloss surface sheen and increase dirt pick-up resistance over any of UNITED’S Roof Coating Systems.

ADHERE-IT II - A breakthrough product specifically developed for dramatically increasing the bond of spray-applied polyurethane foam to weathered black EPDM surfaces.

LOCK-DOWN - A single component, moisture-cured, low viscosity polyurethane primer. It penetrates sounds rust and enhances adhesion of spray-applied polyurethane foam to metal substrates, exhibiting superior resistance to rust and corrosion.

UNISEAL - A single-component, water-based epoxy primer/sealer designed to penetrate and seal porous substrates, such as concrete and wood, as well as over existing foam to promote adhesion of new foam or coatings. It is available in Clear or Black, which creates a greater heat-sink for maximizing the yield of the polyurethane foam.

UNI-TILE SEALER - A two-component epoxy primer/sealer designed to penetrate and seal porous substrates, such as concrete, wood or existing polyurethane foam. It is available in Clear or Black, which creates a greater heat-sink for maximizing the yield of the polyurethane foam.

UNITED CLEANING CONCENTRATE (UCC) - VOC compliant, biodegradable, environmentally safe cleaner/degreaser. It was especially developed for the proper cleaning of existing roof surfaces prior to application of the polyurethane foam. UCC can also be used for cleaning existing coated surfaces prior to recoating, or between coats should contamination occur.
