UNITED COATINGS is pleased to announce that a working arrangement has been reached with MASTER WALL, INC. whereby UNITED’S Uni-Tex products will be marketed under the MASTER WALL label. This is a win - win situation for both companies, in that it provides manufacturing facilities on the East and West Coasts to better serve our customers.

All products will be manufactured at each facility using common formulas, currently registered by MASTER WALL, which meet all current code certifications and EIMA testing requirements. Under terms of the agreement, UNITED COATINGS will have exclusive distribution rights to market these products under the MASTER WALL label to International markets.

UNITED is confident that our relationship with MASTER WALL will solidify our position in the dynamic EIFS market, and we will continue to pursue strategic partnerships to better serve our customer’s needs. Our EIFS product line is a highly flexible, high-build acrylic textured coating system that provides long-term waterproofing and impact resistance. It is unique in its high elongation characteristics, which allows for application to a wide range of substrates. This is a systems product incorporating, as required, insulation board, basecoat, fabric, a 100% acrylic finish coat and other products further described in separate Master Guide Specifications literature.

This durable, color stable wall system can be applied by spray or trowel to achieve a wide variety of finish textures. All our EIFS components utilize water-based, 100% acrylic resins for long-term flexibility and color stability. It conforms to all federal, state and local air pollution standards, VOC requirements and building codes.

BASIC USES
EIFS systems provides a tough, weatherproof, aesthetically pleasing stucco-look finish over various types of insulation board, masonry, brick, concrete, stucco and approved exterior wallboard surfaces. New construction utilizing any of the above substrates will be more economical and durable with a flexible EIFS finish. Existing substrates can be totally retrofitted to achieve a dramatic new look with an EIFS System. It is equally effective on commercial or residential installations. EIFS finish coats are typically applied by trowel, although several types of spray equipment can also be used. Standard texture formulations available include: Striato Swirl finish, Planato coarse sand finish, Capri fine sand finish, Veneto medium sand finish and Cortina trowel texture. Various tools can be used to create many other attractive, customized texture designs commonly associated with stucco.
